Heather joins EKS&H with more than 10 years of experience in tax and international tax client service, including time with several Big Four firms. She offers significant expertise in the areas of individual expatriate tax strategies, including returns, equalization schedules and tax notices.

Michael joins EKS&H with more than 10 years of experience with a Big Four firm and specializes in state and local tax (SALT). He offers clients extensive experience related to income/franchise tax, as well as sales and use tax.

 

Recognition

Sandy recently joined the board of the Colorado Council of Economic Education (CCEE). Since 1971, it has been the mission of the CCEE to empower K-12 students with economic and personal financial education by providing training programs and classroom resources to teachers and school districts.

John has joined the board of the Colorado Ballet Foundation. The organization presents classical ballet and innovative dance that enhance the cultural life of our community and offer performances, training and education programs.

Dori joined the board of the Colorado Nonprofit Association (CNA). She has been involved with the organization’s finance committee since 2012. CNA represents 19,000 charitable nonprofits in Colorado and educates them about new ideas and best practices, and lobbies for public policy positions helpful to the nonprofit industry.

Scott, currently assistant treasurer for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Colorado Chapter, will become treasurer in June. Scott has been involved with the organization since 2006, has served in several previous roles including president and was awarded the Founders Medal of Honor in 2010. HFMA helps health care finance professionals meet the challenges of the modern health care environment.

Becky recently joined the Audit Committee of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce (CWCC). As one of the largest women’s chambers in the country, the CWCC concentrates on three strategic areas: business and leadership education, networking and advocacy on issues that affect its members’ bottom lines.

Drew recently joined the board of ChildSafe Colorado Inc. ChildSafe is Northern Colorado’s only comprehensive outpatient treatment program for victims of childhood abuse, primarily sexual abuse, and their nonoffending family members. The program serves more than 700 individuals.
