Individual Recognition:

Theresa, a board member of the Western Pension Benefits Plan Council, has also now recently become the Treasurer of Veterans Passport to Hope (VP2H). VP2H mission consists of three focus areas: increasing awareness about issues veterans face; fundraising for veteran-friendly nonprofits; and cooperation with other veteran’s organizations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Jason has joined the Advisory Board of Innovest, an independent provider of investment-related consulting services. The organization focuses on serving retirement plans, families and family offices, and foundations and endowments. Innovest has been creating innovative and customized solutions for clients since 1996.

Yiping was invited to participate in a Standard Setting meeting for the ISACA and the CISA Certification Working Group. The purpose of the group is to establish valid and reliable passing point for the June 2016 CISA examination.


Firm Recognition:

EKS&H Receives Highest Peer Review Rating – On May 1, EKS&H announced it has completed its most recent AICPA Peer Review with the highest rating possible “pass without comments”. Reviewers concluded that the firm’s 2015 system of quality control has been suitably designed and complied with to provide reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all respects.

EKS&H Recognized as a Top 50 Best Workplace for Recent College Graduates – According to a new ranking from the Great Place to Work® Institute and FORTUNE Magazine, EKS&H ranks as the nation’s 21st best place for newly graduating employees among companies like Google, Hubspot, Citadel, and the Boston Consulting Group.
