Message from the CEO

Dear Friends,

Did you see our news? “Big Denver accounting firm makes first out-of-state move.”

With that June Business Journal article, we announced the exciting next stage in EKS&H’s nearly 40-year history!

The short story is that we’re opening our first office outside of Colorado. While this San Francisco opening will be new for us, as a nationally recognized professional services firm (recently named #42 in the country), it’s a natural next step.

Just like Denver, San Francisco is one part of the country where many of the dynamics of business are changing–and rapidly accelerating. We see a real advantage to this location as it relates to global connectivity, the manufacturing and technology industries, and the significant influence of private equity and venture capital investment. By opening an office there, we hope to offer the second-to-none EKS&H experience you have come to know to even more clients in the western U.S., across the county and around the globe.

More than anything, however, we want you to know that we’ve made this decision to help our current clients and our people grow through additional opportunity. We’re looking forward to the benefits this move will provide you, and we’re excited to deepen old relationships and begin new relationships in this market.

On the topic of people, I also wanted to let you know that we’ll soon be launching an EKS&H alumni program. Our current employees and our former employees have contributed to the success of our firm and our clients. In appreciation, we really want to strengthen our connections with these friends. If you are, or someone you know is, an EKS&H alum and wants to get involved, please provide your contact information at www.eksh.com/careers/alumni.

If you have questions about either of these exciting developments, please don’t hesitate to contact me or your EKS&H partner. Until next time, wishing you a fun and safe end of summer!

Sincerely,
Bob Hottman
