ASA Poker Run

Lee Ann Collins Cooks for Kids

Lee Ann Collins, partner with Lane Gorman Trubitt, PLLC (LGT), participated in the 11th annual ASA Poker Run and Cookout. Proceeds from the run and auction benefited two charities, Happy Hill Farm Academy and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Each charity is expected to receive about $22,000 in funds raised from the event. Poker Run participants have generously donated more than $158,000 to the Scottish Rite Hospital and approximately $121,000 to Happy Hill Farm since 2004.

ASA Poker Run

Begun in 2004 by Associated Builders & Contractors, what is now the ASA, American Subcontractors Association, Poker Run has raised nearly $280,000 for the benefit of patients at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Happy Hill Farm. Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation’s leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopaedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. Happy Hill Farm

Happy Hill Farm is an accredited, interdenominational Christian residential school for deserving students. Opened in 1975, with 20 students in a mobile home and in 1977, an old house was moved to the property, refurbished and became a new home for the school. It is now a private boarding school for boys and girls with the potential and desire to make the most of their lives. Happy Hill Farm accepts students from all over the world who, for one reason or another, need or desire a place to live and learn away from their home.
